SAVE THE USA

Our great country with its GOD inspired Constitution has been under relentless attack from within by our own political leaders, our rich and powerful, and our special interest groups. The campaign pledges of the past several decades have all been the same. Promises and more promises and more lies. It is now totally apparent that great change will never come from our leaders but must instead come from the GRASS ROOTS LEVEL. WE must do the changing! Let us join together with our collective wisdom and save THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

OUR FIRST SEVEN DEMANDS

1. FIRE THE IRS - We can't be victimized or threatened if we have a simple FLAT TAX or a CONSUMPTION TAX that all of us can understand. For the sake of the poor no one would pay tax on their first $20,000.00 of income. After that we all pay the same. No deductions. No loopholes. NO EXCEPTIONS. In the U.S.A. the top 1 ½% now hold more wealth than the bottom 90%. Our Middle Class is vanishing. If all of us were paying the same flat tax we would all be pulling the same direction on the rope and the tug of war would be over. Together we would cut government spending and government waste, and the flat tax RATE would come crashing down.

REFORM GOVERNMENT NOW OR ELSE RESIGN!

2. ENFORCE TERM LIMITS - Six to twelve years of public service is enough. Most people in power are more concerned with HOLDING ONTO THEIR POWER than in improving the quality of life for the rest of us. After serving their country they should go home and make a living in the economy they've helped to create. In the next election we have to show our leaders we are serious about change. 3. IMPLEMENT CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM - It's truly the have's versus the have not's - meaning in most cases you cannot win an election without a multi-million dollar war chest. A former President once said, "no one's point of view is less worthy of being heard than another." We need a LEVEL playing field.

4. FIX SOCIAL SECURITY They stole our money, spent it, and can’t put it back. Still they have voted themselves some pretty special perks. Senator Byrd, for instance, is now entitled to millions of dollars in benefits. We should ALL be on the same plan. Presently social security is a hot topic of discussion, but you can bet they don’t have the guts to fix anything!

5. GUARANTEE HEALTH CARE - There is no other way. Nearly 50 million Americans do not have health insurance. Our ever-growing poor and the poor middle class use the local hospital emergency room as their family doctor. Most of us do not receive preventative health maintenance care at all. Employers and families cannot afford to pay for health insurance. The HIGH COSTS and GREED of this industry are astounding. Medical bills and bankruptcy should not be synonymous, but they are!

6. PUT LIMITS ON LAWYERS - Stop the frivolous lawsuits. Limit liability awards. You cannot legislate MORALITY. You cannot mandate EQUALITY. We have EQUAL OPPORTUNITY - not equality in fact!

7. GUARANTEE OUR CHILDREN'S RIGHT TO A PROPER EDUCATION - The results of our present system are tragic. Fire inept teachers. Flunk inept students. Teach students subjects that are practical such as PROBLEM SOLVING CONCEPTS, LOGIC, and RESPONSIBILITY and spend little time on memorization. Colleges and trade schools should be available to anyone and paid for mostly with tax money. To go forward we must obviously change some of our BASIC BELIEFS about education.

How about addressing preventative terrorism by tightening our borders. What are we waiting on….a nuclear bomb! It is a national emergency that we mobilize all of our oil and gas drilling capacity just like we did our factories in World War II. What are we waiting on….five dollar gas! Control government spending. Cash money is leaving our country at the rate of two billion per day via the trade deficit. Also, foreigners own trillions of dollars of our government bonds that support our deficit spending. They could sell it at any time. What are we waiting on…. A stock market crash!

OUR GOALS:

To distribute the seven demands and the "SAVE THE USA!" bumper sticker to hundreds of thousands or even millions of Americans! Log on to our website for details.
To encourage all of you to mail or email our demands to the Congressmen and Senators in your home state. Show them WE ARE SERIOUS! Their addresses are on our website.
To replace our present leaders with GOOD CITIZENS who are hell bent to save this country and DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT POWER AND GREED!

OUR PLEDGE:

We will buy several thousand bumper stickers, set up the www.savethe-usa.com website, and do all we can to promote the cause, but our resources are limited and we need help.
If we can create the momentum, we will pick a date and organize a FREEDOM RALLY IN WASHINGTON D.C. Check our website for details.
We will fill our hearts with GREAT JOY if the grass roots movement to SAVE THE USA makes a GIANT AND TIMELY DIFFERENCE!

To buy red, white, and blue SAVE THE USA bumper stickers and distribute them. We can sell small quantities of bumper stickers at $1.00 a piece or will mail you a couple for free if you can't afford to pay.
To encourage everyone you know to join us in a TRIUMPHANT AND HISTORIC MARCH ON WASHINGTON D.C. - A FREEDOM RALLY! SEE YOU THERE FRIENDS!

It is certainly a paradox that while our soldiers are busy removing dictators and fighting for freedom around the world that our own democratic model is decaying from corruption, deficit spending, and the special interests of the political and powerful! Other nations notice how hard we have to work, how little we are able to save, and that our middle class is vanishing. Wouldn't it be best for us to lead the world by setting a better example?
